     Landscape archaeology is the study of natural suroundings and how it has been altered by mandkind ove years. Landscape archaeology focuses on material culture, land use/developement and the natural environment. An archaeological site may not be determined until imagery has been collected showing some sign of a human footprint. Examples of a landscape archaeological site may be: house foundation, mass burial mounds, roads and ancient agricultural fields. A landscape archaeological site may be too big to see on the ground so macro imagery is used for detecting such features.Three techniques of collecting data or imagery of an archaeological site are:
